Created to provide the public with greater access to public art, Flex Gallery is a wearable, rotating exhibition space located on curator Zachary Trebellas' left arm. The mobile art space has to date hosted fifteen custom armbands created by local, regional, and international artists that were originally exhibited in runs of two weeks each. The project includes a diverse range of media including photography, digital illustration, soft sculpture, and printmaking. Flex Gallery is curated with no limitations other than the dimensions of the canvas armbands which Trebellas supplies to each artist. It was featured in an exhibition at UICA in summer of 2017, and is currently in the middle of its third season.
